Vermont state overtime laws are closely based on the FLSA, the national body of laws in place to protect American workers’ rights. Under these laws, the following types of employees are exempt from overtime pay in Vermont:
- Professional
- Administrative
- Executive
Other types of employees who may not be entitled to overtime pay under Vermont laws include:
