Maine State Overtime Exemptions
Maine state overtime laws are closely based on the federal body of laws that regulates fair pay known as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Under both sets of laws, the following types of employees are not entitled to (exempt from) overtime in Maine:
- Professionals
- Administrators
- Executives
